Know what's due tonight.
My Homework Planner reads your child's Schoology assignments once a day and turns them into a plan: what's due, what's late, and when to work on the big stuff.

Everything in one place
Schoology spreads homework across every class page. The planner pulls it together and sorts it by what needs doing next.
Tonight
What's due today and tomorrow, tonight's planned pieces of bigger work, and the top few late items.
Overdue
Late and missing work in the order your child will tackle it, plus anything the teacher asked to redo.
Assignment Planner
The week from Monday to Sunday. Spread a project or test over a few nights, or add something the teacher only announced in class.
Classes and teachers
Each class's work and grades, and a list of things to ask a teacher about.
How it works
Setup takes a few minutes on a computer.
Get an invite
The pilot is small, so each family is added by hand. You sign in with a code sent to your email, with no new password to remember.
Connect your parent login
Enter the LAUSD parent login you already use for Schoology and pick which children to follow. Two kids? Switch between them anytime.
Check it each day
Every afternoon at 3:30 Pacific it reads the latest assignments and grades. Your child checks things off, plans the big ones, and adds notes.
Your data
The same note every parent reads before connecting.
What it keeps
- Your parent email and your LAUSD parent password, encrypted. It's decrypted only to sign in for the daily refresh.
- Your child's assignments, due dates, grades and teacher comments from Schoology.
- Anything your family plans, notes or checks off in the planner.
What it does
- Once a day it signs in, reads the grades page and signs out. It only reads. It never submits, posts, messages or changes anything in Schoology.
- Only you, and anyone you invite, can see your child's planner.
- After two failed sign-ins it stops trying and asks you to reconnect, so your account doesn't get locked.
You stay in control
- Disconnect removes the saved login. The planner stays as it was and stops updating.
- Delete everything removes the login and all of your children's data.
Your login, not your child's
- Use your own LAUSD parent login. Your child's school account also opens their email and files, and LAUSD doesn't allow sharing it.
A small pilot this fall
A handful of LAUSD families are trying it now. There's no public sign-up yet. If you were invited, sign in with the email you were invited with.
